Church Potluck
Join us again on Sunday night, March 2nd from 5:30 – 7 pm for a potluck meal. This month`s theme is pasta so whip up your favorite pasta dish or dessert and come have fun with our church family. A salad will be provided.
New Life Centre
Thank you so much to CHBC from the New Life Centre for the contributions received. The sleeping bags were greatly appreciated as well as the pantry items. To those of you asking what we still need, at the moment we are very short on jam, cheese whiz and coffee whitener. As well, gently used/clean men's gloves and warm blankets/sleeping bags are a continuous need at this moment. Thank you for loving your neighbour as yourself.
Prayers for family & missionaries
Chain of Love Homes, Brazil (an NAB ministry partner): COL Child Sponsorship: On Sunday, February 23rd, there will be a foyer table to discover more about sponsoring a child with Chain of Love Homes. Please prayerfully consider sponsoring a child. Sponsorship packages will be available. The financial contribution is $420 Canadian annually. Far beyond this; however, sponsorship allows you to develop an ongoing relationship with one of the COL children by exchanging cards, letters, and photos with your child. You will receive regular updates on the child’s well-being, activities, and prayer needs. All of the COL children need your prayers and if sponsorship is not possible for you at this time, you are welcome to visit the foyer table to receive a prayer package. Men’s Ministry
The men’s Bible study meets on Wednesday, January 8th at 7.00 pm at the church. We continue in the study of the Gospel of Matthew, and close each study praying for each other. Looking forward to seeing you. Dave and Bob
