CHBC Staffing Proposal

Thank you to all who came out to the town meeting on Tuesday night to discuss the staffing proposal as presented by the elders, staff and board. We very much appreciate your input. Please continue to send any questions or comments to the leaders and come to the congregational meeting on Tuesday, June 3 at 7 pm.

CHBC VBS 

With Vacation Bible school coming up July 7-11th we are hoping to BORROW the following:

1. Woodland animal stuffies
2. Green Christmas trees any size

Please pickup slip from donation table starting on Sunday May 18

We would love for you to join us in preparing for the VBS week of July 7-11. On Thursday mornings we make decorations from 9:30 – 11:30 am in the church basement. No great crafting skills required! If you can cut with a scissors and glue, you are welcome!

Compassion Committee

If you are open to serving others in other practical ways (yard work, house maintenance, driving, cooking/baking . . . etc), please let one of the members of the Compassion Ministry know. We would love to add you to the list of people we can contact as needs arise in our congregation.

Email: compassion@mychbc.ca or head to the church website under "Our Ministries." On the Compassion Ministry page there is a form/inventory you can fill out.

Please be in prayer for the following Bible camp missionaries that our church family supports. Pray that each camp has the volunteers that are needed. Please also prayerfully consider donating to assist a child or teen to attend. Lives are changed at summer camp!

Men’s Ministry

The men’s Bible study meets on Wednesday, January 8th at 7.00 pm at the church. We continue in the study of the Gospel of Matthew, and close each study praying for each other. Looking forward to seeing you. Dave and Bob
