Alpha
CHBC is partnering with several other churches in PG to run Alpha, which is a great way to introduce people to the Christian faith. It starts on January 16th and runs every Thursday evening (6:00-7:30pm) for 9 weeks at Cedars Christian School. Dinner and childcare are provided. There is no cost for this but registration is required. Please register here.

Family Day Weekend Camp @ NLBC
CHBC is planning to run a family camp together with Garden City Church over the Family Day Weekend, February 15-17. This camp will be held at Ness Lake Bible Camp and will include times of worship, solid biblical teaching from our guest speaker (Cam Roxburgh), as well as some great recreational activities for everyone. More details will be shared soon and registration will open next week!
Prayers for family & missionaries
GAIN Church Planting Project – Our church family has now completed fundraising for this project and raised $25,373.10! Thank you once again for supporting this important project! If any individual or family wishes to give funds to GAIN for church planting, further donations must be made directly to GAIN at Global Aid Network - Where Most Needed – select either “Plant a New Church in a Village” or “Training for Two New Church Plant Leaders.”

Membership
The elders have interviewed Eric and Leah Paulsen and recommend them for membership.
Men’s Ministry
The men’s Bible study meets on Wednesday, January 8th at 7.00 pm at the church. We continue in the study of the Gospel of Matthew, and close each study praying for each other. Looking forward to seeing you. Dave and Bob

Sunday School
Sunday School will resume on January 12, 2025 at 9am
Tuesday Tots will resume on January 14, 2025 from 9- 10:30am
White Cross work session on January 11th from 10am-3pm.
Women’s Ministry: Ladies’ Morning Out will start up again on Thursday, January 16th at 9:00am
